When she was studying statistics, Martina Collini already had very clear ideas about her future. She knew that she would not be continuing her studies after her three-year degree. Much more attractive than a Master's degree was the idea of tasting a bit of freedom by starting work and taking the first step towards independence. But she did not expect it to happen so quickly. "Two weeks before the thesis interview,' Martina says, 'Andrea Prosperi, the head of People Care Teddy, whom I had met at an open day, called me. He offered me a job as an analyst and I didn't think twice, I accepted immediately". So, in July 2017, at just 21 years old, instead of preparing her interview and fantasising about a possible and well-deserved holiday, Martina joined Teddy as an analyst for Marco Raniero Sambuci, then Industrial Director of the entire Group.
The memories of those first few weeks are still sharp and unforgettable, like the first great trials of life for which you feel necessarily unprepared. "I came from a university where government was a simple logic. There were exams, and to pass them you just had to study hard and organise yourself as you wished". After joining Teddy, however, I had to adapt to a new way of thinking and a daily routine of unpredictable events and never-ending exams. "It was my first real job and it was difficult, I was so eager to conquer my own space and at the same time I was being asked to make a commitment that, combined with my sense of responsibility, was overwhelming". But little by little, step by step, without overt twists and turns, Martina found her balance and found satisfaction not only in her job, but in the whole Teddy ecosystem.

What does Teddy mean to Martina? After so many years, there are several aspects that she can appreciate and that allow her to say that joining Teddy has been a real opportunity for change and growth. "One of the most inspiring things is definitely the chance to meet so many people with different backgrounds and experiences. The exchange with my colleagues has been and still is a source of enrichment, both from a professional and personal point of view. Another very nice thing is that Teddy is a big company, full of young people, where everyone can find their place. I have often told my friends to apply for some position at Teddy". Seven years ago, Martina had clear ideas about her future, and today they are just as clear.

Having achieved the independence she wanted, she now has a new goal. "I have a three-year-old daughter and am now pregnant with my second child. What I really want is to stay with Teddy and balance my work life with my growing family".
