The types of personal data we collect how we use it
Navigation Data
Navigation data are data collected by the information systems and software that operate the Website and their transmission is implicit in the use of Internet communication protocols. Navigation data are not collected to be associated with identified users but, in the view of their nature, they could lead to the identification of users, if associated with data held by third parties.
Navigation data are, for example, the IP addresses or domain names of the computers that connect to the Website, the URI addresses (Uniform Resource Identifier) of requested resources, the time of the request, the method used to submit the request to the server, the size of the file received in response, the numerical code indicating the status of the server's answer (successful outcome, error, etc.), and other parameters about the operating system and the IT environment of a user.
Navigation data, as specified above, are collected and processed by Teddy S.p.A. in anonymous form for statistical purposes only in relation to the access and use of the website and in order to monitor the proper use and operation of the website. How we collect and process your personal data
Personal data are processed manually and electronically in order to fulfil the purposes for which they have been collected. Data will be collected and processed by staff directly employed by Teddy S.p.A and/or by individuals or corporate entities identified by Teddy S.p.A as data processors and appointed to do so and their employees appointed as data processors.
Legal basis
The legal basis for the collection and processing of your personal data through our website and the services offered on it is your consent and/or the requirement to meet contractual and/or pre-contractual obligations.
The recipients of the data collection and processing procedures are all the users of our website or of the services offered on it, aged 16 or 18 and above, as provided for by separate privacy notices.

Retention of personal data
Teddy S.p.A will only keep and process personal data as long as you will use the website and the services offered on it, unless otherwise stated in separate privacy notices. Should you withdraw your consent, Teddy S.p.A will keep your personal data to the extent necessary to comply with our legal obligations until required by law.
Your rights as a data subject
Pursuant to Arts. 15 to 22 of EU Regulation (GDPR) and Italian laws on data protection, at any time you as a data subject can exercise your rights with reference to the data you provided to the Data Controller. In particular, any data subject whose personal data have been collected can benefit from the following rights:
a)  right to access the personal data we hold about you and obtain confirmation as to whether or not your personal data are being processed by Teddy S.p.A., even in the case of unregistered users, and obtain a copy of that information in a structured, commonly used and machine-readable format;
b)  right to be informed about the source of personal data, the purposes and manners of data processing and storage, the tools used in case of electronic data processing, details of the data controller, of data processing managers and the appointed representatives, the subjects or the categories of subjects to whom personal data may be disclosed or who may be acquainted with those information as State representatives or public officers;
c)  right to obtain the rectification or update of your personal data or to have the data we hold about you transferred to another organisation, where technically feasible (“data portability”);
d)  right to obtain the deletion of your personal data, to restrict the way we process your data, to request your data to be anonymized or to object the processing of your data, including the personal data that do not need to be stored for the purposes for which they were collected or processed;
e)  right to be provided with a proof that all the third parties to whom your personal data were disclosed or communicated have been notified of your decision to exercise your rights, unless it is impossible to do so or would require disproportionate effort;
f)    right to object, on any compelling legitimate grounds, to the processing or partial processing of personal data we hold about you, even when relevant to the purposes of the data collection, and to the processing of personal data we hold about you for the purposes of direct marketing or sales or for the purposes of carrying out market or marketing communication research.

As a data subject you have the right lodge a complaint about the processing of your personal data with the body regulating data protection in your country (in Italy it is “Garante per la protezione dei dati personali”).

Furthermore, you as a data subject have the right to withdraw your consent to the processing of personal data at any time.

The use of personal data to send newsletter and/or promotional communications shall be subject to the prior written consent given to us by users.
To opt out of receiving newsletters and promotional communications sent by email, you as data subject only need to follow the unsubscribe instructions included in the e-mail you received or send an e-mail to privacy@teddy.itwith your opt-out request. As soon as we receive the e-mail, we will delete any personal data we hold about you.
